Mini Veggie Idlis

 

Veggie Idlis (Colorful & Healthy Bites!)

A fun twist on classic South Indian idlis, these Veggie Idlis are soft, colorful, and packed with nutrition. Perfect for toddlers and young kids!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup idli batter
  • ¼ cup grated carrot
  • ¼ cup finely chopped spinach
  • ¼ cup finely chopped beetroot
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder (for color & immunity)
  • ½ tsp cumin powder (for digestion)
  • Ghee or butter (for greasing)

Steps:

  1. Divide the batter into three bowls.
  2. Add grated carrot to one bowl, spinach to another, and beetroot to the third. Mix well.
  3. Add a pinch of turmeric to the carrot batter for extra color.
  4. Grease a mini
    idli mold with ghee/butter and pour in the batters.
  5. Steam for 10-12 minutes until soft and fluffy.
  6. Serve warm with coconut chutney or a mild tomato ketchup dip.😋😋😋😋
