Mini Veggie Idlis
Veggie Idlis (Colorful & Healthy Bites!)
A fun twist on classic South Indian idlis, these Veggie Idlis are soft, colorful, and packed with nutrition. Perfect for toddlers and young kids!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup idli batter
- ¼ cup grated carrot
- ¼ cup finely chopped spinach
- ¼ cup finely chopped beetroot
- ½ tsp turmeric powder (for color & immunity)
- ½ tsp cumin powder (for digestion)
- Ghee or butter (for greasing)
Steps:
- Divide the batter into three bowls.
- Add grated carrot to one bowl, spinach to another, and beetroot to the third. Mix well.
- Add a pinch of turmeric to the carrot batter for extra color.
- Grease a mini
idli mold with ghee/butter and pour in the batters. - Steam for 10-12 minutes until soft and fluffy.
